Go Girls! Teaching Artists & Summer Staff

Go Girls! recruits, hires, and trains an incredible artists and girl advocates for summer seasons, workshops, and pop-up programming. Each Go Girls! Camp session is led by a Site Director, Play Director (who teaches drama classes and directs the final play) and features an Expressive Art Teacher (who teaches visual arts classes, leads Community Circles, and helps campers to create the visual elements of the final play) and a Music Specialist/Dance Choreographer (who, of course, brings the funk!). We intentionally hire teaching artists who support our mission for girls and gender expansive youth, share our vision for igniting a compassion revolution through the arts, and have depth of experience teaching school age campers. These leaders are supported by Assistant Teachers who are in charge during free play time and lend their incredible talents to classes and the final play.
