MAKE ART~MAKE MEDIA~MAKE CHANGE

The structure of the Go Girls! day (9am-4pm) is designed to include the perfect balance of facilitated community building time, arts-based instructional time, and plenty of free play.  Girls engage with drama/acting, visual arts, creative movement/dance, music, and media.  We take time to play outside.  We take time to relax and read. We take time to meditate, be mindful & journal.

Go Girls! programming is led by a team of highly trained and very talented theater teaching artists and expressive artists. Girls practice theater, expressive arts, music, perform plays for their peers, and produce media that promotes values in support of justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Go Girls! rising to 5th - 6th grades attend alongside in our ChangeMakers curriculum (9am-4pm). Where girls and gender expansive youth gain skills and tools to make and critique media in the new digital media era that is driven by their voice and creativity.  Whether it’s a short film, a music video, a social action campaign, pop-up art installation, or a TED-talk styled monologue - these Go Girls! will amplify their voices and build creative endurance to share what’s important to them, their peers, and their community.
